4th of July

Took me a while to decide what to make the first blog post about. My first draft was a unthemed pessimistic rant. It wasn't fun to write and even worse to read, so safe to say its much better doing a second take. As luck would have it, today's the fourth of july. It would be a missed opportunity not to theme this article around our country's 250th birthday. And what better way to start out a celebration of America than wasting all my disposible income at the earliest opportunity? I recently joined the ranks of the workforce, so with my hard earned revenue I permitted myself to a budget of one hundred dollars to spend at a assortment of local firework tents. Though this should have been able to able to purchase a kings rasom of fireworks, I walked away with only a few . Had I more foresight, I would've taken a picure of them as soon as they were home, or at least the empty packeting after the fact. I didnt do either, but its the first blog, I get some slack. Instead, you get a picture of some other fireworks I bought a few days prior.

The gross overpricing of the fireworks wasn't that big of an issue, as I prefer having a collection of small fireworks to set off with friends over the course of the year. The neighbors also had the street closed off to host there own huge show, so it all worked out for the best. I met an old man who was apparently my neihbor during the show, he was nice. At one point I set off onr of my mortars with all the others, and after the third morter the launching tube broke and it exploded in the middle of the crowd. No one was hurt. I have more to say, but this getting a bit long winded already. Best to nip it in bud and leave some material for later. Ill set up some sort of guestbook soon to see if people actually read this. FYI this article will be uploaded some time after the fourth, so the date may be inaccurate, but only by a few days at most. My name is Josh, thanks for reading, see yall in the next one
